It would be much easier to download the file, put it on an SD card and install it that way, but I can't find a download. I called Trane's customer support and was told they can't provide firmware. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who said the only way to get firmware updated was to arrange a service call from a tech.

I'll admit I was pretty would up about this, but I went out of my way to tell say to both the supervisor and the initial service person that I know they aren't personally at fault for any of this, and I don't want to yell at them for it. The supervisor said he'd give me contact info for a tech. By now it way 4:50 on Friday night. When I asked him if he expected anyone to be there, he told me he had no way of knowing that. When I told him not this was bullshit he said that he would hang up on me if the conversation didn't stay professional..

TLDR Need firmware for a Trane XL950. Trane wants to extort a service call for this. Their support supervisor won't admit techs have gone home by 4:50 on a Friday night, doesn't like me calling that bullshit. Anybody got a link?
