Tusb6250 Driver

I have the following problem with my lacie
If you bought TUSB6250 Boot Device from a retailer and installed it yourself, you will need to contact its manufacturer
Some computers mistakenly identify a LaCie hard disk as a 'TUSB 6250 Boot Device.' If this is happening, follow the procedure below to correct the issue.
Remove all the cords from the back of the drive. Both power and USB
Reconnect only the power supply
Manually power the drive. The blue activity light on the front is also the power button
After about 15 seconds, regardless if the light is solid or flashing, reconnect the USB cable
During this procedure, we suggest using a port directly on the computer, and if the computer is a desktop, a rear port. No hubs or port replicators are advised, powered or otherwise. Front ports on a tower computer, as well as ports on a monitor, are examples of things not to connect through, for troubleshooting purposes.
This doesn't work.
If any one has a solution please let me know as the maker running me around in circles. I got this from the states & I live in Australia.
Warning don't buy internationaly with Lacie as there is no warranty.
In order for us to provide a warranty repair, you would have to ship that device back to our warehouse in Oregon, and you would also have to provide an address within the US to send the product back out to, as we do not ship out of the US. If you would like to pursue this warranty repair, please contact our tech support using the link below.

Tusb6250 Boot Device Driver Lacie

  • My Big Disk will not mount or is not detected. The System Profiler on my Mac or Device Manager on Windows lists it as unknown with the name TUSB6250 Boot Device.
  • TUSB6250 BOOT DEVICE DRIVERS FOR MAC - The time now is If I plug either the printer or the hard drive into an external USB hub instead of directly into the USB ports on the motherboard it frequently loads it as 'Unknown Device' which of course doesn't work. It knew something was in there, and I pointed to the appropriate drivers, etc and it still would.
